We are looking for a quality team member to join our second generation family business caring for domestic pets throughout Western Australia. We take pride in conducting a very ethical, clean and neat operation.
About the Opportunity
We seek a mature, fit and healthy person with a strong back and a soft heart to assist with the collection of pets and horses.
This can be an emotional situation and you will need to be able to handle it with professionalism as our service is about helping make a tough time a little easier for people.
There is some heavy lifting involved and full training will be given in this area.
You will:
Be flexible
Have a current drivers licence and be used to driving a variety of vehicles including a light truck
Be competent in reversing a trailer
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be experienced in safe lifting procedures
Have a compassionate and caring nature and be an animal lover
Be motivated with a reliable work ethic
Be able to handle challenging and emotional situations
Be well groomed and have high attention to detail
We can offer:
25 hours per week with the potential for extra hours
Ongoing support and training
9.5% super
