To be successful, you will have:
- A Heavy Vehicle License and Forklift Ticket
- Safe and efficient forklift operation and manual handling methods
- A high level of understanding of safe work practices and a commitment to Workplace Health & Safety
- A strong working ethic with a can do attitude
- Reliability
- A commitment to excellent Customer Service
- The ability to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
The following will be an advantage:
- Knowledge of the Dangerous Goods Code and Load Restraint guidelines
- Past experience in a high volume loading environment working to deadlines
- A sound geographical knowledge of the Mackay and surrounding areas
