About the Role
Greyhound is seeking experienced and passionate drivers to join the team as Full Time / Casual Coach Captains. At Greyhound we are always searching for passionate operators to represent the company from the frontline and give customers the best experience possible.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Ensuring the safety of all passengers by adhering to and demonstrating safe work and driving practices
– Understanding and complying with road rules and operational processes including pre-starts, ticketing, incident reporting, passenger manifests and freight consignment procedures
– Performing administrative duties when required including pre-start documentation, completion of log books, fault sheets and journey records to ensure accurate records
– Demonstrating correct manual handling of all luggage and freight and using safe manual handling techniques at all times
– Managing own fatigue through effective Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) and being fit for duty
– Performing other duties as listed in the Greyhound Coach Captain Position Description and as requested that are within your skill set and ability
– Creating a positive customer experience on every service
– Driving a range of coaches across scheduled services
– Consistently ensuring the safety of yourself, your passengers and your vehicle

Licences and Requirements
You will be expected to work across the operational roster. In exchange we offer an autonomous role where you can have a direct impact on the success of the business.
To be successful in this role you must have:
– A current HR driver licence
– A current Drivers Authority / Endorsement
– Demonstrable coach driving experience
– An outstanding safety focus, including a commitment to your own fitness for duty
– Experience delivering excellent customer service
– Time management skills
– Mechanical knowledge is desirable
