Job Summary
The position involves loading, transporting, unloading and tipping (marrell type) skip bins for the domestic, commercial, construction and demolition industries, as well as general tasks including vehicle upkeep, bin repairs, and yark duties to name a few. Being employed as a professional truck driver representing the company, you will be expected to know and obey the road rules, as well as work and act in a safe and courteous manner.
Essential Requirements
- Have a good work ethic, can-do attitude, professional & polite, flexible & adaptable,
- Willing to set a good standard, willingness to grow your career with the company,
- Hold a valid QLD HR truck licence & 5 years HR driving experience,
- Experience in a similar role, in the waste industry,
- Physically fit – safely climb onto truck tray, tarp & secure loads, in/out of cab, repeatedly, etc,
- Own PPE: Steel cap boots, Hi-vis shirt, safety sunnies,
- Neat, tidy and organised – keep truck clean & organised, ensure loads & tarps are tidy,
- References from current and/or most recent employers (min. 2),
- Right to work in Australia, have own transport & good spoken English,
