We are looking for civil production workers who provide maintenance repairs, operational duties and deliver the best customer service in performing your tasks.

These new Civil Production roles will be based in Sydney Metro region across the Sydney Metropolitan area, North and Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Western and South-Eastern Regions (Miranda, Daceyville, Ryde, Warriewood and Prestons Depots operational areas). If you live in these locations and are within 30 minutes of from the depots then you will be considered for the role. You must live in this region for operational needs, safety and customer service aspects of the job

About the role
The Civil Maintenance Delivery unit has depots in several locations all throughout Sydney to provide the best 24/7 service to our customers. We are looking for civil production workers who provide maintenance repairs, operational duties and deliver the best customer service in performing your tasks.
Maintenance and repair of broken pipes, surface fittings including hydrants, valves, access chambers etc.
Minor adjustments to water and sewer mains
Clearance of sewer chokes
Use of a mobile computer tablet and smartphone technologies to complete all tasks
Provide exceptional customer service
Other duties as directed
About you
You understand that safety is our number one priority and you show resilience towards our customers and your team. To be considered for the role, you must have:
A white card
A current MR Drivers License (manual) RMS – Driving Record to be produced if selected for Interview
Must be able to obtain Confined Space Ticket
Must be able to attain Excavator and Front-End Loader Competency
Must be able to attain Traffic Control Tickets – yellow and blue
Police Check – to be produced if selected for interview
Must pass a Medical and Full background check with Sydney Water if selected
Need to have great communication skills via phone and face to face
Satisfactory Computer Skills
Demonstrate a level of literacy and numeracy to complete reports
Current residential address is a consideration in meeting business needs.
You will be required to work afternoon/night shift, rostered standby, weekend patrol, continuous overtime and be available for emergency work as required. Experience with working in a field based workforce would be an advantage.
Desirable experience and tickets are:
Knowledge of plumbing or civil maintenance on pipe network systems
Excavator and Front-End Loader Ticket
Traffic Control Tickets – yellow and blue
