We are currently seeking an experienced Freight Loader/Forklift Operator based at our Neil Mansell Transport depot in Darwin.
The position involves operating a forklift and loading and unloading chiller, freezer and dry goods. This role requires good time management, excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately complete paperwork. Work hours are Monday to Friday with reasonable additional hours required to meet operational requirements.
Ideally, successful applicants will have the following:
– Current high risk forklift licence
– Prior experience in transport, particularly chiller, freezer and dry goods
– Knowledge of safe work practices
– Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and Load Restraint legislation
