We are looking for an experienced Freight Officer to join our team fulltime in Rocklea, QLD.
About the Role
Centurion in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Freight Officer to join the team full-time responsible to loading, unloading and restraining freight. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift and freight scanning experience.
Duties
- Loading and unloading
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Ensure freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
- Ensure connotes are completed correctly
- Ensure all scanning is accurate and completed
- Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork
- Safe working record and commitment to creating a safe work environment
Skills and Experience
- Forklift Licence
- Experience in load restraints
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Ability to take direction from supervisors
