FLOAT DRIVER / OPERATOR
Northern Heavy Haulage (NHH) Darwin Based and Locally Owned are looking for candidates to join our Team
Position – Float Operator / Truck Driver
this position is not a FIFO position
Darwin Based Position that requires commitment to 6 days per week or 12 Day Fortnights
Candidates must have the following ;
Minimum of (3) Years experience is essential in the Heavy Haulage Industry – Oversize and Over Dimensional Transport (must have)
Experience and operational understanding of Low Loaders (4×8's and 8×8's) and
Self-Steerable Platform Trailer experience an advantage
MC Licence held for minimum of 3-5 Years
Applicants WITHOUT the Min Yrs Industry Experience NEED NOT apply
VOC's to Load, Unload and Transport Heavy Earthmoving Equipment, Oversize and OverDimensional Items along with other Plant and Machinery
Strong Understanding to Comply with all Safe Working Methods, Fatigue Management, Load Restraint Guidelines, CoR and Weight Positioning
Applicable Certifications and Contactable References
Customer Focused, Mechanical Aptitude, Ability to work Unsupervised, Understanding of OHS Regulations and Document recording applicable to all National Accreditation Schemes and Government Regulations
Good communication skills, both Written and Verbal is essential
Pre Employment Drivers Medical to include D&A Testing with additional random D&A testing carried out
