About the role:
- We have an opportunity at our Warwick QLD depot for a qualified mechanic to join our experienced workshop team. The role requires the successful applicant to maintain Wickham Freight Lines fleet to a high standard, while working within a team environment. Regular repairs, maintenance, modification level of service in a timely and effective manner. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday and you will need to have availability to be on-call every 4 weeks.
Skills and experience
- Ability to carry our mechanical tasks with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and to make independent decisions
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a drivers licence and or HR/HC licence is desirable
- Knowledge of automotive air-conditioning – desirable
- Preferred certified Tradesperson, Heavy Vehicle Road transport Certificate III or Diesel Fitter qualifications
