With expansive cold and dry storage facilities and a large fleet of commercial vehicles servicing the diverse needs of our customers located both within the metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established WA Family Business in its Broome Operations, Western Australia.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable HR Driver on a Full time basis. Based at our Broome depot, the position will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of produce and stock, as well as provide a high level of customer service to our valued clients.
This role is a residential role in Broome WA.
Key responsibilities for the role include but not limited to:
- Sole responsibility for the Broome depots Equipment , paperwork and all of its freight movements and customer requirements
- Multi-drop and prompt manual delivery of consumables
- Accountability of the vehicle and its load during transit and delivery
- Ensure goods are delivered in accordance with the customer / supplier’s requirements
- Maintaining depot & vehicle cleanliness in accordance with HACCP standards
- Completion of all relevant paperwork concerning the load and trip
- Compliance with fatigue management policies and the completion of relevant fatigue management documentation
- Communicate and liaise with customers on route regarding the delivery status of their load
Job Requirements
To be considered and successful in this role, you must;
- Be reliable and have the ability to work autonomously in Broome and liaiase with the Forrestfield operations team in Perth
- Have a current HR Licence. (Multi drop and refrigerated vehicle experience highly regarded).
- Have a valid WorkSafe High Risk Forklift ticket.
- Be computer literate and able to correctly complete all Pallet and Delivery paperwork requirements
- Be fit for General labouring and manual handling duties
- Be available to Work Long Shifts and Overtime as and when required
- Able to Start early mornings and work on weekends as and when required
Please note that this role is a Residential role.
