Bay Island Transport is a professional transport and freight forwarding business based in Redland Bay. Servicing the Redlands and Bay Islands since 1974, the business is well regarded within industry and is experiencing significant and controlled growth in several areas.
With current staff of 18 and a fleet of 13 delivery vehicles the business continues to expand and flourish under the current ownership which has been in place since 2016.
The position is a casual role however there are plenty of hours available for the right person.

Ideally the candidate will possess the following:
• Manual HR Licence (essential)
• Own transport to/from work (essential)
• Must be fit and healthy, punctual, reliable and respectful (essential)
• Furniture removal experience (desirable)
• Multi-drop delivery experience (desirable)
• Some degree of mechanical aptitude (bonus)
• Hi-AB experience (bonus)
The job entails the pick-up and delivery of goods within South East Queensland, and in particular to the islands of Russell, Macleay, Karragarra, Lamb, Coochiemudlo and North Stradbroke. Frequent heavy lift is required.
You will be home every night and would be part of a hard-working, growing, and respected team. If you are not an honest, hard-working and reliable employee you will not last in this role.
