Casual truck driver needed for delivery work in Ormeau QLD, $33.80-$36.00/hr, requiring valid MR/HR licence & physical fitness.
Truck Driver
Location: Ormeau, QLD
Pay Rate: $33.80/hr to $36.00/hr (dependent on experience)
Hours: Runs commence between 4:30am and 8:00am, with finish times dependent on daily workload
Employment Type: Casual (potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: Immediate
Duties include, but are not limited to:
– Drive HR or MR trucks to worksites to perform deliveries
– Physical and repetitive labouring tasks
– Load and unload trucks
– Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
– Adhere to road safety laws and fatigue management regulations
Requirements:
– A valid MR or HR truck licence with a minimum of 12 month’s on-road driving experience
– Physically fit and able to safely lift over 16kg as part of daily manual handling
– White Card (or willingness to obtain)
– Comfortable working closely with an offsider and independently when required
– Reliable transport (Public transport is not available)
– Prior experience with deliveries, construction sites, or removalist work (advantageous but not mandatory)
– Valid Forklift Licence (advantageous but not mandatory)
