ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is an on-site role for a Local Driver & Linehaul Truck Driver based in Maddington – Perth, WA. The role involves safely operating trucks to transport goods between designated locations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Tasks include inspecting and maintaining trucks, adhering to delivery schedules, and properly loading and unloading cargo. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery documentation and communicating effectively with the logistics team and customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– MC License – Linehaul
– HC License – Local
– MSIC Card – not required but preferred
– White Card
– Experience required
– Ability to perform a Pre-Employment Medical or provide a current certificate
– Fatigue Management
– Capability to load, secure, and unload cargo safely and efficiently
– Good knowledge of truck operations and maintenance procedures
– Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
– Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading as required
– A clean driving record and commitment to ensuring safe practices on the road
