We have been operating a twice a week express road train service into Darwin for the past twenty (20) years. Our depot is based in Campbelltown NSW and our Darwin depot is based at Yarrawonga (Palmerston). Our Darwin depot has air conditioned motel style (individual) sleeping quarters
Job tasks and responsibilities
You will be part of a 2up express driving team, leaving Sydney either Tuesday or Friday evenings for Darwin. You will be required to collect loaded trailers from various customers around Sydney. Travel to Dubbo and collect the 2nd trailer and then to Bourke and collect the 3rd trailer. Once in Darwin, you will be required to either drop the trailers at our depot or to the various customers around Darwin.Returning from Darwin, your trailers will be loaded for you or you will be required to travel to one of our customers and load product or general freight and then return to Sydney. If you load produce you will be required to unload at the Sydney fruit markets.
Skills and experience
MC drivers license, experience in road train work, prepared to join/be part of a 2up driving team, mechanical minded.
