Medical Transport Driver / Patient Transport Officer
Location: Perth Metro
Pay Rate: $35 per hour
Minimum Hours: 6 hours per day
About the Role
Vital Transport is a growing non-emergency medical transportation service providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transport for patients attending hospitals, clinics, and healthcare appointments across the Perth metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities
– Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments
– Assist patients with mobility, entering and exiting the vehicle
– Provide respectful, calm, and compassionate support
– Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety checks
– Communicate professionally with dispatch and healthcare providers
Essential Requirements
– Valid Australian driver’s licence
– Ability to work a minimum of 6 hours per day
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Professional presentation and patient-focused attitude
– National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
ALS Certification
ALS certification is required or training will be provided for suitable candidates who are willing to obtain ALS certification.
