No Fuss Event Hire is an Event Equipment company based in Keysborough supplying equipment to major venues and events around the country.

Location: 57 -67 Popes Road, Keysborough VIC
Report To: Warehouse Manager

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Transporting Hire Equipment to and from our warehouse in Keysborough and between job sites
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical standards and safety issues and perform basic routine maintenance; includes cleaning the inside and outside of company vehicles.
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks which includes but not limited to
  • Strapping and unstrapping of loads being transported
  • Spotting loads going on and off vehicles
  • Forklifting loads on and off if a valid license is held
• Complying with Truck Driving Rules and regulations ( size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Ensuring all driver log books are up to date
• Retaining vehicle fuel receipts to be handed to warehouse manager
• Manoeuvre trucks into the ideal loading and unloading positions
• Collecting and verifying delivery instructions
• Communicating with clients and collecting verifications that deliveries have been achieved
• General on site labour when it is required by the No Fuss site manager
• General warehouse duties when it is required by the No Fuss Warehouse manager

Requirements

• Valid Medium Rigid Truck license as a minimum
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employmentrecommendations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected conditions such as traffic, weather conditions etc.
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• 24/7 availability due to bump in/out scheduling
• Ability to drive long distances, long hours and travel regularly
