MR Driver – Laundry & Linen Service ( HOLY CROSS LAUNDRY )

The Organisation:

Holy Cross Laundry is a high volume commercial production facility, which employs approximately 220 staff and provides hire linen services to the major hospitals, aged care facilities and hospitality venues in the Brisbane area. Operating since 1889, Holy Cross Laundry has a mission to provide integrated and inclusive employment opportunities, by supplying high quality laundry and linen services to our clients.

The Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced Drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will enjoy a range of tasks and will have a strong Workplace Health & Safety focus. Drivers work to a roster, with shifts across all 7 days, between the hours of 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, so full availability and flexibility are essential. As a first point of contact for our clients, professional and positive approach and presentation are essential elements of the role. There is a high degree of manual handling required in this position; therefore physical fitness is a requirement in order to fulfil the role.

The Criteria:

• Current License – MINIMUM of MR LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL
• Current National Police Check and Traffic History ARE REQUIRED TO BE ATTACHED TO YOUR APPLICATION
• Previous experience with multi-point drop off and pick up is ESSENTIAL
• Customer Service experience in order to maintain a good customer relationship and promote a positive image of the organisation
• Maintain the Mission of Holy Cross Laundry
• Be a proactive member of the Holy Cross Laundry Team
• Maintaining effective communication with Line Managers and fellow team members
• Apply safe work practices including, but not limited to, manual handling, machine / equipment operation and driving
