Dash Construction Solutions are seeking a reliable and experienced MR driver for a short term role with one of our clients
We are currently seeking experienced MR truck drivers for work all over metro Melbourne running trucks from their warehouse out to various sites throughout the city.
This role will require you to drive their 6 tonne box truck, securing loads, and occasionally helping with packing & unpacking of trucks for some of Melbourne's major events, parties and exhibitions.
Being events work, flexibility of hours is important as there will be some requirements for weekend work on occasion.
In order to be successful you must have the following:
- A valid Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
- Be able to demonstrate previous heavy vehicle driving experience
- A current Forklift licence (LF), preferred but not essential
- Be strong, fit & healthy; manual handling involved
- Be well presented and have a customer service focus & a can do attitude
- Be able to work well in a team environment
This position is a short term 2 week role initially with potential to lead to further work for the suitable applicant.
