We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Food-Service Driver to join our Distribution team based in Smithfield.
This role will see you delivering food and packaging products to customers all over Sydney area which will involve some heavy lifting so being physically fit is a must! Duties involve taking stock into shopping centers and therefore do require excellent presentation and communication skills. Might have to do pick ups as & when required.
In order to be successful for these positions you will need to demonstrate a sound understanding and meet the following criteria:
- MR license – unrestricted
- You must have thorough knowledge of roads.
- Driver must be flexible with hours.
- Driver must be punctual and well presented.
- Ensure that truck is kept in a clean and tidy manner
- Minimum 2 years driving experience in a similar role
- Multi-drop Experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills
- Well presented with good customer service skills
You will be required to:
- Manually load and unload freight
- Be involved with relevant paper work and cash handling
- Carry out all duties within set time fames and follow instructions
Forklift license may push you over the line also.
Must be an Australian Resident, reliable, fit, energetic, accuracy is very important. Heavy lifting is involved. Pay is above award wages.
If Successful, you are to supply an RTA driving record dated within 1 week of starting.
