TriTech Lubricants is a wholly Australian owned family company specialising in the sales and distribution of the premium TriTech Lubricants product range across a vast range of industries including Automotive, Agricultural, Transport, Manufacturing, Construction, Mining and Earthmoving based in Carrum Downs, Dandenong Sth and Tullamarine.
We are currently seeking an experienced truck-driver delivery person to be available for work out of our Tullamarine & Dandenong Sth branches
The successful applicant will be required to:
· Complete the daily maintenance procedures and up-keep the general presentation and cleanliness of the vehicle being driven.
· Checking & match paperwork for orders being delivered.
· Load and unload trucks in a safe manner.
· Deliver orders comprised of multiple products to the customers scheduled for the day.
· To use pumping equipment to transfer oil products on-site for some specified deliveries.
· Be physically fit, able and capable of moving some heavier items around the truck and at the destination. NB: We regret to advise that this position is not suitable for applicants with a history of back or similar injuries.
· Start early and finish early from any of our depot locations.
· Have a good knowledge of the metro and inner country areas of Melbourne.
· Contribute towards excellence in customer service and delivery.
· Be involved in the planning the delivery route planning & schedules for the upcoming day's activity.
· Support administration and customer service where needed.
· Ongoing on the job training provided.
In addition; to be considered for this role you should have:
· Own transport essential. Applicants without a manual vehicle certified and MR (or higher) classification driver’s license will NOT be considered.
· Forklift license is prefered (Applicants without may not be considered).
· A can-do attitude is essential, as is initiative and a strong work ethic.
· Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Willingness to work within and be part of a friendly and productive team.
