Multi-Stop MR Truck Driver

Hours: 0830 – 0430 Monday to Friday (can be slightly varied for eomployee)

Remuneration: Road Transport MA000038 – Grade 3

Reporting to: Leading Hand and Depot Supervisor

Qualifications Required: MR License, Forklift Ticket

Special Demands: Fit and Healthy, basic geographical knowledge of Moreton Bay region.

Job Duties: As part of the team you will be required to sort, load and deliver satchels, pallets, and boxes to receivers using a mobile device. You will be required to follow all safety procedures, including pre-start checks of your vehicle and abide by receiver premises safety procedures. You will be required to keep vehicle washed and tidy inside. You will be required to fill out any necessary paperwork and answer any queries from the admin staff. **This is a general outline and is not an exhaustive list of the job role

Skills or traits of a successful applicant: You will be the front-line contact and image to our customers, the successful applicant will possess good communication skills, be clean and well presented. Exhibit a willingness to learn and get stuck in to be part of a team. They will be able to work autonomously without constant supervision. They will be patient with customers, the public, and have a clean background check, and great driving history. A new member to the team does not need prior experience, or to be extremely tech savvy, but must enjoy being outdoors, with a basic level of fitness and health, able to operate a mobile device. Applicants should have a basic understanding about chain of responsibility and load securing, or the willingness to ask questions and learn.
