Job Summary:

We are currently seeking experienced excavator operators and water truck drivers to join our team based in Parkes, NSW.

About the Roles

SME are the trusted name in civil earthworks in the Parkes region and with continued growth we are seeking various operators to join our team. The successful applicants will be working on civil projects within the Parkes and Central West area. We are currently advertising for the following positions:

Excavator Operator (Full-time)
Water Truck Driver (Casual, approx. 50 hrs per week – with the possibility to become full-time)

These are NOT FIFO positions and applicants must reside within the Parkes region or be willing to relocate.

Skills & Experience

For your application to be considered you must have:

Excavator Operator:
– Minimum 2 years prior experience on an excavator (8-30t)
– GPS experience desirable
– Excavator Licence (RII Nationally Recognised Ticket)
– Current Driver’s Licence

Water Truck Driver:
– Current HR Driver’s Licence or above
– Experience operating a water truck

BOTH POSITIONS must have:
– Construction Induction Card (White Card)
– Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
– Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
– Safety and quality focused
– Able to work unsupervised
– Multiple plant tickets an advantage
