We are currently seeking multiple operators to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to become full-time.
The successful applicant will be working on civil projects within the Parkes and Central West area. These are NOT FIFO positions and applicants must reside within the Parkes region, or be willing to relocate.
About the Roles
SME are the trusted name in civil earthworks in the Parkes region and with continued growth we are seeking various operators to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to become full-time. The successful applicants will be working on civil projects within the Parkes and Central West area. We are currently advertising for the following positions:
- Moxy Dump Truck Drivers
- Water Truck Drivers
- Compactor Operator
These are NOT FIFO positions and applicants must reside within the Parkes region or be willing to relocate.
Skills & Experience
For your application to be considered you must have:
Moxy Dump Truck Driver:
– Current Driver’s Licence
– Experience driving a dump truck
Water Truck Driver:
– Current HR Driver’s Licence or above
– Experience operating a water cart
Compactor Operator:
– Minimum 2 years prior experience on a Compactor
– GPS experience desirable
– Compactor Licence (RII Nationally Recognised Ticket)
– Current Driver’s Licence
ALL POSITIONS must have:
– Construction Induction Card (White Card)
– Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
– Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
– Safety and quality focused
– Able to work unsupervised
– Multiple plant tickets an advantage
