FULL TIME
A long term position, delivering mail 5 days a week, is now available for an immediate start.
It is essential that you have an open drivers licence and that you are a competent driver. You will be driving a van for this position.
The day will commence with parcel sorting and then you will be required to deliver parcels around the Whitsundays including Airlie and Cannonvale
You'll need to have a memory for this job, getting familiar with roads, addresses, surnames and delivery orders. Scanners are a part of your every day so be prepared to learn a new system.
Once familiar with the role, pace is imperative. You need to be a self motivated person who is fit and friendly. Determined to get parcels out in a timely manner, which means being on the move. You need to be a team player, ready to assist others with their runs when required.
Having delivered parcels in the industry for nearly 14 years, there are strong systems in place and the process is well developed. You need to to learn and follow procedures, resulting in a work environment that is very supportive.
You will be required to complete a police check for security clearance to secure this position, so no convictions in the last 10 years is imperative.
