We are actively growing our Cropping, Livestock, and Freight enterprise to service Australia with reliable, efficient, and friendly service.
We are looking to recruit experienced Road Train Drivers. We have local Eyer Peninsula contracts, contracts in WA and some interstate running to NSW and QLD. If you are keen on WA, the rate is $35 per hour, plus the nightly away rate (award level) if applicable.
SA or WA based applicants only.
Your Skills:
- Compassion and empathy,
- Current MC license preferably 2 years or more, not essential.
- A commitment to safety and safe working practices,
- A motivated work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised,
- Presentable and good people skills.
Your role will include driving, cleaning, loading, and maintaining the Road Train set, including completing relevant paperwork. Upon employment, you will be assigned your own truck to operate (1 truck 1 driver).
We prefer an experienced driver who is not worried about varied pickup and drop points. We would also prefer someone who is tech-savvy and able to follow GPS and/or read maps but this is not essential.
The position includes a mixture of independent driving and on the occasion, driving in a convoy, therefore flexibility is also requested
For SA based, The pay is $30 per hour from turning the engine on to finishing for the day (including breaks). If the trip is an interstate trip and you are required to stay away from home you will receive a further $42 per night.
Award wages are $35 for Driving, $24 for loading, and $22 for cleaning and break unpaid. However, to make it easy for all, we pay the same rate for all hours – key on key off.
