Hinter-Coast Transport is the first choice of wedding, corporate and conference event planners from Maroochydore through to Maryborough and everywhere in between.
With a reputation for a reliable, punctual and courteous service, our drivers are hand-picked experienced bus drivers from the Sunshine Coast to ensure they maintain the standard of service for which we are known.
Our fleet of modern, comfortable and well maintained buses are fitted with seat belts and air-conditioning, and some include TV/DVD facilities.
Ranging in size from 13 to 57 seat buses, we can deliver on a wide variety of bus charter needs, from small groups of ten through to corporate events requiring the transport of 300 passengers, anywhere on the Sunshine or Fraser coasts.
About the role
Based at our depot in Eumundi, you would be required to operate local school runs, school and commercial charter work.
There is also weekend and night work available.
Uniforms, training and a supportive, flexible working environment are provided.
Skills and experience
To join our driving team you will need:
-Heavy Vehicle Licence
-You're required to hold a valid Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR)
-Driving Experience
-You'll need to be passionate about driving and have a good & safe driving record with a minimum of 2 yrs experience driving a heavy vehicle (trucks, buses or coaches). You'll need to provide a current demerit point statement confirming your license status.
-Driver Accreditation
-A Queensland Driver Authority is required. If you haven't got one you must be willing to obtain Driver Accreditation which allows you to driver passenger vehicles.
Other requirements
-You will need to be well presented and have excellent communication skills. You will have a variety of work and your roster will vary so you will need to be willing to work early mornings, days, nights and weekends.
