An opportunity exists for a Plant Hygiene Supervisor to join our Brisbane team. You will manage a team of Cleaning Technicians for a further processing plant. Reporting to the Operations Manager & be responsible for ensuring that the Cleaning team are operating at optimum efficiency and productivity. MJ Hygiene Management services, an industrial hygiene division, have been providing Hygiene solutions to Australian businesses for over 10 years. We operate in all states of Australia, employing passionate people to manage, maintain and service our extensive customer network. The main duties for this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Supervise, lead and coach the Cleaning technician team.
- Monitor and control stock and report to the Senior Operations Manager.
- Oversee the training and development of all team members to ensure the department goals are achieved and a safe work environment is provided.
- Manage the Factory Hygiene to deliver 100% Results to the clients
- Ensure necessary equipment maintenance and damages are reported
- Assist in the recruitment process and inducting new staff members to the team
To ensure your success in this role, you must have:
- Previous experience in a Supervisory or Leading Hand role
- Excellent customer service skills
- People management and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Time management and organisational skills
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
- Ability to work Night shift
