Job Summary:

The successful candidate would transport hides/refrigerated/frozen product between abattoirs, port, hide plant and other sites. We have two positions available day shift and afternoon shift

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Transport refrigerated and frozen product from Brisbane to various locations
Safe and timely transportation of Company goods to and from sites
Efficient operation of the Prime Mover and associated equipment
Complete daily pre-start checks on vehicles before operating
Ensure compliance with all Road Transport Requirements and National Heavy Vehicle
Comply with all aspects of laws related to the Chain of Responsibility
Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety Requirements
Operate under Basic Fatigue Management (BFM)
Work as part of a team and individually to accomplish tasks and manage workloads.

About you:

Current Multi-Combination (MC) Driver’s
Minimum of Two Years’ Experience as an MC Driver.
Sound Traffic History Report (Last 5 Years).
Ability to work across a 7 day period including weekends.
Hold Basic Fatigue Management Certification
Current Drivers Medical
Knowledge of the above locations would be an advantage
Must be able to work afternoon shift.
Experience using Stag tippers, refrigerated vans and containers is highly desirable.
Current MSIC Card.
