Job Summary:

Driving vehicles in order to fulfil organisation's commitments and service agreements with customers.

Driver duty:

• Delivering goods to all customers including retail, food service & wholesale.
• Loading or unloading goods delivered using various lifting devices e.g. forklift and manual handling.
• Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring a safe distribution of weight within the vehicle.
• Obtaining proof of delivery for items delivered according to company procedures.
• Maintaining logbooks detailing vehicle movements.
• Reporting and complying with vehicle maintenance needs.
• May collect payments from customers and return daily to authorised persons in accordance with company policies & procedures.
• Must at all times comply with traffic laws & regulation and avoid driving, parking and other traffic offences.

Store duties

• Assemble and dispatch orders in a responsible and professional manner within a required turnaround time
• Load and unload vehicle and container when required
• Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
• Receive goods by checking goods carefully against delivery dockets
• Document and report any damages and/or discrepancies in goods to the Warehouse Manager
• Catalogue or label items with storage details
• Handle returned and damaged goods as per company’s policy
• Operate forklift machinery according to the company’s safe operations guidelines
• Maintain allocated forklift and other Company’s assets in your care
• Housekeep the storage areas as scheduled
• Apply all necessary Quality Control procedures in your job
• Follow relevant OH&S rules and regulations in the company’s OH&S policy
• Pick and pack frozen good orders in freezer environment as well as ambient
• Stock take or cycle count duties as required
• Perform other duties which may fall outside of your normal duties when required or if instructed by the Warehouse Manager

Skills Required

• Valid Fork Lift license
• Physical fitness with ability to perform medium-heavy physical work
• Must be a team player
• Basic food handling awareness
• Customer focus
• Basic literacy and numerical skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Prefer MR license
• Physical fitness
• Familiarity of metropolitan areas and routes

Must have good driving record, OHS and safe driving awareness

• Australian driver's (Preferred)

• mandarin (Required)
