We are seeking Tanker Drivers for CSG field operations around the Western Downs and Maranoa QLD.
Coho heavy vehicles provides 24/7 support to drilling and completion rigs. This is a back to back role which requires successful candidates to be able to work autonomously and have proficient time management and communication skills.
This role can be labour intense which requires personnel be physically fit and have a sound knowledge of positive manual handling techniques.
- Semi, road train and truck & dog combinations
- Water and vac tanker operations e.g. dust suppression/road watering, transporting drilling waste to disposal, transporting water to and from the rig
- Specialised landspray operations
- Managing fluid transfer operations on the lease (tank to tank) Key characteristics:
- Heavy vehicle drivers licence is mandatory
- Competently drive an 18 speed road ranger transmission
- Sound knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance (pre-start inspections and weekly service)
- Basic knowledge and understanding of tankers (desirable)
- Commitment to health, safety and environmental practices and standards
- Ability to work in rural and remote locations
