Job Summary:

Woodstock Timber Specialists is based in Slacks Creek, Logan, Queensland (just south of Brisbane) and provides a wide range of timber supplies and builders hardware including timber posts, timber beams, timber gates and timber decking supplies.

We are looking for a Timber Yard Team Member who has a Forklift Licence (LF) & Forklift

– Experience for our yard in Slacks Creek. Picking & Packing of Orders, & Timber

– Experience/Knowledge is Preferred, but not essential.

– The position will start as a Permanent Casual (minimum 38 hours per week) for a probation period, which will lead to a Full-Time Position for the successful applicant.

Duties & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

– Preparation of Customer Orders (includes Picking & Packing Orders, cutting & measuring timber to length)

– Forklift Operation

– Loading/Unloading Trucks

– General Timber Yard Work/Manual Lifting as required

To be eligible for the role, you must have following skills/experience:

– Current Forklift Licence (LF)

– Forklift Experience

– Positive Attitude & Good Communication Skills

– Be available to work shifts between the hours of 6am to 5pm (Mon to Fri) & possibly Saturday (when required) – 7am to 11:30am

– Able to work outdoors in all conditions

– Physically Fit for repetitious manual work
