Tow Truck Driver – Car Wreckers
We are a busy car wrecking and cash-for-cars business looking for an experienced and reliable Tow Truck Driver to join our team.
The Role
You will be responsible for collecting vehicles from customers across Melbourne and transporting them safely back to our wrecking yard. Most vehicles are damaged, unwanted, unregistered, non-running or being sold for wrecking.
Key Responsibilities
– Pick up cars from customers across Melbourne
– Load and secure vehicles safely onto the tow truck
– Transport vehicles back to our wrecking yard
– Communicate professionally with customers during collection
– Complete basic vehicle and customer paperwork
– Check vehicle details before collection
– Take required photos of vehicles when picking them up
– Coordinate with our office and dispatch team throughout the day
– Look after and keep the tow truck clean and presentable
– Follow all road, loading and workplace safety requirements
