Transport Supervisor – With Truck Driving experience
Seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team. This position is ideal for a former or current truck driver with leading hand and supervisory experience who is ready to step into a leadership role, leveraging their firsthand driving knowledge to coordinate, support, and supervise transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise daily transport operations and ensure timely delivery schedules.
– Support and manage a team of drivers, assisting with route planning and compliance.
– Monitor fleet maintenance, vehicle inspections, and safety checks.
– Enforce company policies, fatigue regulations, and health & safety standards.
– Step in to drive when needed.
– Ensure the completion of accurate documentation and records.
– Communicate effectively with staff, customers and clients.
Requirements:
– Current MC License
– White Card
– Previous experience as a truck driver with Quad and Side Tipper experience preferred
– Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
– Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
– Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
– Computer literacy (for scheduling, GPS tracking, reporting systems).
– Willingness to occasionally drive if operationally required.
