Black Bear Logging Pty Ltd are looking to employ HC truck drivers based in the Bathurst/Oberon area for an immediate start.
Duties will include transporting timber from Stanthorpe QLD to the Oberon NSW sawmill.
Accomodation + meal allowance supplied
Full time, ongoing work
Fleet of late model Mack Superliners with single folding Kennedy Trailers.
Competitive wages ($35/hour flat rate)
Home every second night, work a rotating 6 days on the first week and then only 4 days on the second week.
Work commences ASAP
Experience working in the timber industry is preferred.
The successful applicant must –
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work in changing environments.
- Have demonstrated experience in the log haulage industry.
- Implement our certified safety, quality and environmental practices
- Be physically fit with the ability to pass a medical test.
- Pass pre employment drug and alcohol testing along with regular random testing
Qualifications:
- Heavy Combination (HC) drivers license
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience truck driving
- Experience working in forestry plantations (desirable)
- Daily pre starts and maintenance of trucks
