Your Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete the gathering and fault free timely load / off-load of catering material, assuring complete load security, co-ordinating with all necessary departments, Transport Dispatcher (Dock controllers) and Duty Manager.
- Completion of pre-trip truck checks, ensuring cleanliness and assumes responsibility for the driving of high-loader catering vehicle.
- Load and unload onto and off aircraft in accordance with flight schedules, loading lists / labels and stowages into the correct galley positions and health and safety / customer requirements.
- Liaises with the Transport Dispatcher (Dock Controllers) in the case of injuries and accidents, absence of material or any other irregular operations.
- Compliance with the regulations.
We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess:
- A current MR or HR valid driver’s licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Availability to work a 24/7-day roster across mornings, afternoon & night shifts.
- No criminal background.
