We’re looking for a highly organised Waste Dispatcher to coordinate drivers, trucks and daily runs. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy keeping operations running smoothly, this role is for you.
About the Role:
Coordinate and dispatch waste collection trucks across daily routes
Communicate with drivers throughout the day via phone and radio
Monitor job progress and adjust runs when required
Manage customer service requests and urgent pickups
Track vehicles and ensure schedules are met
Liaise with drivers, supervisors and site staff
Ensure safety and compliance procedures are followed
Record job updates and maintain dispatch logs
What We’re Looking For:
Dispatch, transport or logistics experience (preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisation and multitasking ability
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Basic computer and data entry skills
A positive, team-focused attitude
