Experienced yard operator to assist with the day-to-day delivery operations
Toll Mining Services, a business unit of Toll’s Global Resources & Government Logistics division, has current operations across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, placing Toll Mining Services as a leading operator in the mining logistics sector across Australia.
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Yard Operator, located in Moranbah Queensland. Reporting to the Transport and Distribution Manager, the overall purpose of this position is to assist with the day-to-day delivery operations at our client's distribution facility.
Primarily dealing with dangerous goods, this position requires sound judgment and a close attention to detail. The successful applicant will also have a demonstrated commitment to health & safety practices and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously. A strong work ethic will be highly regarded.
Along with the above, the successful candidate will have:
- Minimum HC licence (MC preferable)
- High Risk forklift licence
- A minimum of 3 years' experience
- SSAN Police Certificate (or ability to gain)
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and incident free operations.
- Sound Microsoft Office suite expertise
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test
