Cookie Preferences Menu Search results Job Save Operations Coordinator Transport company seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator Your new company Hays Recruitment has partnered with a well-established industry leader in transport services who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced operation coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
In your new role as an operations’ coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating bus schedules, driver shifts, and route assignments.
- Ensure buses are dispatched on time and routes are covered.
- Manage weekend and after-hours driver rosters and fleet allocation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain driver diaries and monitor fatigue compliance.
- Provide customer service support by handling issues, delays etc.
- Build client relationships and promote services.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experience in a similar operations coordinator or fleet allocator role
- Strong knowledge of Metro Melbourne
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access), with strong data entry skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
