Hi, I am an experienced truck driver and I have a recent MC licence. I have a recent driver history check, and police check.. I have a white card, working at heights, standard 11, coal board medical and more. I am happy to do reasonable overtime.

Experience :
Worked As Truck Operator at QLD Linen Services from April 2019 to August 2019
• Driving trucks up to multi-combination level.
• Transporting commercial linen to and from clients around QLD, predominantly mine sites.
• Loading and unloading of linens.
• Directing customer enquiries whenever relevant.

Worked As Vac Truck Operator/Trainee Jet-Rodder at Cape Pipe from February 2018 to August 2018
• Driving truck and excavating ground with high pressure Gerni and vacuum.
• Expose services for council. Clean Culvert’s with jet rodding truck, working away regularly.
• Operating bobcat and 2 tonne Excavator on culvert jobs and drive prime mover water tanker for away work as well.

• Although I didn’t stay with this employer for a good period of time I enjoyed the hands on work.

Worked As Geo Tech Drillers Offsider at Douglas partners/ Ground test from February 2012 to April 2013
• Skipping a few years to condense my resume, I took on a drillers off siding position knowing I like working outdoors and am interested in environmental sciences.
• I became very interested in Geology after all I discovered whilst labouring and collecting core samples of the earth below where I worked.
• I would assist the driller, handle drill rods attach drill head, collect core sample and document depth of core sample.
• Maintain equipment, mix muds to keep existing hole from collapsing and drive truck and rig to and from location.
• Safety procedures and practices, SDS’s, Hazard controls and observing all the time for change in environmental conditions.
• I enjoyed learning all I did with this job wishing I had become a geologist in my youth. I went to drilling for gold learning the operations of reverse cycle drilling in WA later down the track.

Worked As Concrete contractor at Robert Guy and Son’s from January 2003 to February 2005
Concrete Cutter/Driller
• Servicing local council for all their concrete cutting needs.
• Providing concrete cutting services to local contractors on request.
• Maintaining and servicing equipment and learning whatever I could always trying to improve my knowledge.
• Working day and night shifts, practising safety procedures, take 5’s and risk assessments.
• Being diligent to not let run-off slurry go down drains using control methods reducing contaminated water in catchments.

Worked As Concrete contractor at Concrete Cutter/Driller from March 2000 to November 2002
• Learned all aspects of concrete cutting and drilling.
• Obtained White card and being introduced to site inductions and safety procedures.
• Operating road saws exposing services for contractors to cutting expansion joints in newly laid concrete slabs.
• Using hand and ring saws for all sorts of tasks in the construction and demolition industry.

• I achieved a MR truck drivers licence and learned how to slump up concrete to required ratings.
• Learned to operate a front end loader and mix different grades of concrete and different strength’s.
• Driving trucks and operating heavy machinery was the change I was looking for working regular hours and weekends mostly free.

Worked As Chef De Partie at Hamilton Island Towers resort QLD from August 1996 to March 1998
• Menu planning, ordering stock, training apprentice’s, follow instructions from executive chef
• Food preparation ala carte and buffet work along with room service demands.
• Working with chefs from all over the world opened me to whole array of perspective’s and techniques. I developed my own expression of presentation and flavours that expressed my personal passion for food to where I created my signature dish.

Worked As Commis chef at Centrepoint Tower revolving restaurant from October 1994 to June 1996
• Modern Australian cuisine. Working a extensive ala carte menu as a team member with a brigade of chefs.
• Servicing a buffet and fine tuning my newly accrued skills.

• Learning from my peers techniques that made me a professional chef.

Worked As Apprentice chef at Eliza’s Restaurant Doble Bay from January 1991 to September 1993
• Trained in a fine dining restaurant learning to identity ingredients, rotation of stock, knife skills, hygiene and basic recipe’s.
• I would go to TAFE and learn all about methods of cookery and sciences.
by my third year I was running whatever section I was allocated to ranging from deserts and larder, Pan’s and sauces, grill and hot plate and creating a variety of nightly specials off the menu.
• Learned time management, how to improvise and work in a fast paced high pressure environment. Attention to detail and multi tasking whilst working under pressure are tools I gained from this experience.
