SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
* Performing and making of interstate deliveries – Australia Wide including FIFO work
* Supervising of fellow operators and team members; delegating duties, providing support where necessary and ensuring productivity and works completed in a timely manner and inline with safety procedures
* Route planning to ensure efficient delivery of goods according to clients requirements and strict ETA’s
* Liaising with clients / suppliers in a friendly manner and advising relevant personnel on any customer issues
* Servicing and performing of general maintenance on trucks
* Keeping them in good running condition; inspecting for defects and safe operating condition before and after trips
* Following and working in accordance to strict OH&S requirements, ensuring the safety of myself and those around me
