I write to apply for the advertised position, supported by my current 4 years truck driving experience driving Semi-Trailers, Oversized loads, Roadtrains, Float work, Pantechs and Flatbeds. I also have warehouse experience including picking and packing, despatch and securing loads.

I have driven in high risk situations, including narrow roads, rough surfaces, and in tight spaces with high road and pedestrian traffic. I take a pro-active approach to the maintenance of the machines, identifying and reporting faults and ensuring that servicing occurs on time.

Previously I was in the Australian Navy as a chef were I had additional roles as a firefighter and SMET (ships medical emergency team ) in which I have acquired high levels of safety training.

I am well trained in OHS. I am experienced in pre-start procedures, inductions, toolbox talks, working to SWPS, JSAs and JHAs, and identifying risks, bringing these to the attention of OHS staff.
