I have worked in the Printing industry for the last 39 years and started as an apprentice and worked my way through the industry in trade, supervisory and management role. During this time, I have also studied to gain a diploma of management and completed several management and training courses over time.
I am looking for a change and have always enjoyed driving trucks, cars or boats. I have had many roles where I have been responsible for the performance of others, and I am now looking for a role where I am only responsible for own performance. I am also looking to get out side the manufacturing plan environment and move in to a mobile outdoor office. I am reasonably fit and can handle some manual work if required.
I prefer early start and early finish, but I am happy to look at overtime during the week in required to meet deadlines or customer expectations. I would prefer to spend time with the family on weekends, but as above, I can be flexible. I can bring time management skills.

Worked As Flexible Packaging Production Manager at Ultra Labels and Flexpack from December 2021 to February 2023
Starting new production division for Ultra Labels in to Flexible Packaging. Installation of new equipment being Pouchline, Thermal Laminator and Film Slitter. Recruitment and training of staff as required building the levels and skills as required. To grow the business from the production side from 100k per month in sales to 450k in sales per month over the first 12 months. Initiate a second shift to meet the business needs. Involved with Senior Management to select equipment required for further growth in production. Manage all aspects of despatch and delivery to clients.

Worked As Production Supervisor/HR Truck Driver at The Alternative Bag Company from May 2017 to January 2020
Start up Greenfields site in folding board cartons for food packaging – Manage all staff and commissioning of new equipment. Commissioning of new Sheeter, Laminator, Pouch machines, Cups and Flexographic eight colour Printing Press. Manage efficiency improvement of current equipment from 67.5% Production time to 75% as well as waste reduction from 4.9% to 3.1%. Work with Agencies to recruit and hire new floor staff. Implement OH&S standards to meet National standards. Manage current equipment maintenance and continuous improvement in the folded carton lines and the Die cutting department. Co-ordinate Production across 20 different lines with 14 Manufacturing processes, on 2 shifts. Up skilling of current staff to meet the needs of the business, and recruit skilled staff as required. Fork lift operation and HR truck operation also part of my role.

Manage all aspects of 24/7 Flexographic Label Printing Operations. Implemented total floor restructure of Operations to improve outputs and meet DIFOT targets, DIFOT improvement of 20%. Improve skill sets of all staff, but not numbers, to improve productivity. Recognise staff and implement adult apprentice program. Reduce NCR costs and implement tighter quality control systems. Recruit and Performance manage staff in conjunction with HR. Manage maintenance of equipment and building. Negotiated site wide Operational Excellence Program for all Operations staff (50) at cost neutral to the business – Entailed Cert IV in Leadership and Operational Excellence for Team Leaders and Supervisors, Cert III in Operational Excellence for all Manufacturing staff.
