QE Foodstores is a mixed grocery business that specialize in providing high quality products and services to our clients located around Sydney.
We have recently opened a distribution centre in Mascot are seeking individuals who have a passion for healthy food to join a new team preparing and delivering our line of pre-cut fruit and vegetable. We are looking for committed, reliable, energetic, motivated Kitchen Hands who are willing to learn, gain new experience and further develop your skills. Please be prepared to work in a busy and fast paced environment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Full Australian drivers licence and ability to drive a manual van
- Excellent Knife skills
- Strong understanding of the importance of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to follow systems and processes
- An understanding of store cleanliness and perform cleaning tasks
- Team spirit
- Highly motivated individual with a passion for food that thrives in a fast paced environment.
- Proven ability to work autonomously
- Strong work ethics, motivation
- Impeccable presentation
- Hold a permanent residence visa in Australia
Your role will be driving deliveries to our stores 3-4 days a week and the rest of the time will be in our distribution centre cutting and packing fresh food.
Job Type – full time, 38 hours per week
Salary – $23.53 per hour
