Toll Mining Services, a leading operator in the mining logistics sector across Australia, has a vacancy for a full-time Driver Attendant which involves travel up to 12 days away.
Toll Mining Services, a business unit of Toll’s Global Resources & Government Logistics division, has current operations across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, placing Toll Mining Services as a leading operator in the mining logistics sector across Australia. Toll Mining Services also provides logistics transport services to a Defence Contractor.
Our Myambat operation has a full-time Driver Attendant vacancy which involves travel up to 12 days away.
The main duties of this role are to assist drivers in loading and unloading vehicles safely and to ensure the safe and productive delivery of dangerous goods. You will also be required to attend to the vehicle in the event of an emergency.
To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated commitment to safety and health practices and have the ability to work both in a team and autonomously. A strong work ethic will be highly regarded.

You will be required to have the following skills, experience and abilities:
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Hold a Queensland Police and SSAN Security clearance and/or other state equivalent within the last six months or the ability to acquire either
- Knowledge of fatigue management is desirable, though not essential

The successful applicant will need to pass the medical requirements for this role and undertake relevant inductions and training. You must be able to provide evidence of having the Right to Work in Australia. It is a prerequisite for the preferred candidate for this role also undergo a criminal background check.
