TRUCK DRIVER

Role summary
We are seeking a Truck Driver to join the Aubigny team, responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles and for timely, compliant delivery of goods. The primary vehicle will be a Kenworth Prime Mover, with occasional operation of smaller vehicles.
Key responsibilities and essential requirements
– Safely operate company vehicles to transport various products and materials
– Conduct daily pre-start inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance where trained
– Plan and follow efficient and safe delivery routes to meet schedules
– Secure freight properly to prevent loss or damage
– Verify loading documentation and obtain delivery confirmations
– Proven experience as a truck driver with a minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a prime mover
– Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle class; minimum requirement HC class licence
– Good understanding of and compliance with COR (Chain of Responsibility) and Transport Regulations
– Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role
– Predominantly local travel, with flexibility for interstate/overnight travel required
– Excellent organisational and planning skills
– Clear communication skills and ability to work well within a team
– Reliable, self-motivated, and deadline-focused
