Farm Hand / Truck Driver HC ( Tamarix Poultry Farm )

Job Summary:

Tamarix Poultry Farm is currently seeking a Farm Hand / Driver to assist in a variety of tasks on the farm

Duties include

• Customer service
• Adhering to company values, policies and procedures.
• Operation of a variety of vehicles.
• Loading daily orders in trucks or vans.
• Process invoices on sign on glass POD system and obtain payments and signatures for goods delivered.
• Complete all paperwork, including Q.A checklists & log sheets, and return to office.
• Weekly maintenance and cleaning of allocated vehicle, plant or equipment.
• Performs such tasks as daily checks on poultry sheds & routine cleaning activities.
• Provide assistance to the egg grading floor & feed mill where required.
• Assist and complete various on farm tasks as required by management.
• Ensure all Tamarix farming sites are kept neat & tidy and appear presentable at all times.

To be successful for this role

• Heavy combination truck license – non sync
• Experience operating Road Ranger double clutch system.
• Forklift license
• Able to work under pressure to meet demands & deadlines.
