Depot is located in Kenmore, Brisbane.
The successful candidate will be required to meet in Kenmore at the commencement of each working day.
Role and duties are outlined below. Please only apply if you have the required experience and skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist with the removal and transportation of household goods and furniture.The employer may require you to carry out other reasonable duties as required.
Duties and tasks
- Lifting and packing household furniture from house to truck & transporting to new destination
- Apply padding and protection to reduce accidental damage when moving
- Indicate destinations of items by labeling; secure loads in vehicles to prevent damage and shifting
- Notify management of any damage and breakage
- Take direction from head removalist in loading and unloading; pack vehicles to conserve space
- Use hands and equipment to load heavy goods into vehicles
- Communicate with clients as needed
Skills required
- Previous removal or labouring experience is highly regarded
- Ability to follow Safety Standards
- Attention to detail
- Care to be taken so to not damage the clients property & furniture
- Adhere to directions
- Operate equipment and heavy machinery
- Perform physical and repetitive tasks
Job Type: Casual
Salary: $25.00 /hour
