Job Description
This position is a general freight, multi-drop position. Delivering freight to mining, engineering and construction. You’ll be required to carry out both pick up’s and deliveries throughout your day. Sticking to a strict schedule.
Our daily service area’s are as follows: Newcastle, Tomago, Rutherford, Singleton, Central Coast, Sydney, Wollongong, & The Southern Highlands.
You may also be requested to carry out Hot Shots (ASAP deliveries) to all parts of NSW and country wide. Most regularly is Mid-North Queensland, WA, and SA.
This position is only suited to someone who is fast paced, pays attention to detail, and can keep their vehicle clean and tidy.
About You
- Minimum MR license (HR preferred)
- 3 + Years experience with the license that you hold
- 3 + Years experience in the general freight industry
- Experience with Sydney driving
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Good attention to detail
- Know how to check a vehicles oil and fluids etc (On a daily basis)
- Must be clean and tidy
