HR Local Driver ( GKR Transport )

You duties will include:

• Transportation of general freight from Brisbane to various customer sites.
• Operating HR Rigid and B-Double configurations.
• Daily Prestart checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Restraining loads using chains, ratchet and straps.
• Managing fatigue on each journey in accordance with legislation
• Develop good relationships with customers.
• Achieving our company and customer's safety goals in direct areas of responsibility and adhering to all relevant WH&S legislative, policy and procedural requirements.

To be considered for these roles you must have:

• Minimum 1 years' experience operating HR manual vehicles
• TLIF1007C certificate in Basic Fatigue Management is essential
• Extensive experience of the Brisbane regional and metro areas.
• Good understanding of load restraint and previously used chains, ratchet chains and straps
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
• Proficiency in all aspects of truck operations from single trailer combination through to B-Doubles
• High customer service skills, good communication, written and interpersonal skills
• MC Licence is preferred
