About the business and the role
Penhalluriack's is a family owned timber and building supplies company situated in Caulfield.
We are in the business of serving the building trade and DIY retail market in South East Melbourne.
Our business is renowned for stocking an extensive range of hardware, building, timber and garden products.
We have an opening for a full time HR truck driver in our team.
Successful candidate would be required to drive our crane truck and deliver timber and building materials to job sites around Melbourne.
You will be required to assist the yard team with making up customer orders and putting stock away.
Job tasks and responsibilities
– Deliver timber and building materials to building sites.
– Load / Unload trucks using a forklift.
– Vehicle loading crane operation (loading and unloading)
– Working in the timber yard.
Skills and experience
– Two years of HR truck driving experience.
– Forklift driving experience.
– Good communication skills.
– High level of commitment and customer service skills.
– Ability to work in a team.
– Vehicle Loading crane operation experience desired but not essential.
